Lonely Saturday

Pada hari Sabtu yg hening ini.. usually it always has been a very lonely day for Cikgu Liza because the other significant half adalah tidak cuti on Saturday. So, to avoid the kingdom of boredom strike on this very day, Cikgu Liza had planned for a SBT class.. those teachers out there tahulah apa SBT ni.. and to raise the interest of my pupils, I decided to do a lil jamuan makan after the class. Days ago, in my head, I have created the menu for today.. maybe some kuey tiow goreng with a few kuih2 raya yang tak habis2 lagi kat rumah tu..

To fulfill it, the Mzmriza went uptown to get all the barang2 dapur.. it have been months of hiatus at home hence last nite was our first groceries shopping after months.. guess what.. the total spending was RM300++... the biggest groceries expenses I ever had.. imagine spending just untuk kitorang yang duduk berdua aje ni... ntah apa yang aku beli tak tau lah.. En Amir said takpelah since dah lama tak spend so much on barang dapur.. iyooolahhh..

By the way.. back to Cikgu Liza's jamuan.. I slept almost 1am processing all the stuffs that we bought.. ikan2 nak kena siang.. mana boleh main sumbat gitu jek dalam freezer.. plus the awas2 to cook the kuey tiow next morning.. the kelas will start at 8.30am, takkan lah at the wee hours itu aku nak berkungfu kan.. and this morning I woke up as early as 5.30am.. macam bulan puasa pulak rasanya..

So the mission begins.. dua kali Cikgu Liza masak kuey tiow.. mana tak nya.. 6 kampit kuey tiow.. kuali medium size.. tak muat nak masak all at once.. siap2 masak semua.. I called my mom.. saja nak tanya khabar.. My mom was suprised that I could cook that banyak.. all I said was " laaa... campak2 je lah.. hehehheee".. naper mak? tak percaya ke?.. hehehhee

Finally everything is ready and En. Amir telah ku paksa menjadi tukang rasa kuey tiow for his breakfast this morning.. he gave two thumbs up and dua kali tambah( harus lah mak kembang).. alhamdulillah.. lega.. and now time for school..

At my surprise.. haaa.. 6 packets kuey tiow AKA nak bagi makan 19 orang budak, those turned up only 9... gila banyak kuey tiow aku.. tak habis la gini... nak hangin pun ada.. susah betul lah nak suruh diorang datang extra class cuti2 ni.. though siap rasuah dengan jamuan pun tak jadi jugak.. penat haku masak tau... haihhhh.. jaga korang.. next week.. ganti balik kelas.. 2 jam direct right after school.. jaga..

Makanya.. terpaksa lah Cikgu Liza memaksa budak2 yang hanya tinggal 9 orang itu makan banyak2.. hahhaha.. not to mention one of them suddenly left sbb ada family emergency.. Fitri namanya.. kesian aku tengok dia.. sebab dia yang paling exited sekali.. could see his eyes was welled with tears masa nak balik ikut mak dia.. suruh budak2 tu hantar rumah dia sebekas kuey tiow tapi bukan dia ada kat rumah pun.. hmm.. bukan rezeki ko lah Fitri... so tinggallah 8 orang.. by the way kuey tiow tak habis jugak.. banyak gila.. sesudah kelas.. kuey tiow itu pun diexport ke office suami ku.. hahahahaaa.. mana ada sapa nak makan kat rumah..

Sekian itu saja untuk hari ini.. gila panjang.. diri sendiri pun rasa macam malas aje nak baca.. :)

if takde minyak.. butter hangus...

this is just to add some taste to the toast..

busy bee mode

ah haaaaa... update!! just a brief one.. I am running here and there.. soooooo very busy.. I wish I am this type of busy.. being a domestic goddess.. taking care of the house and family.. the tense wouldnt be so high like I am having now... how I wishhhh.. at least I dont have to juggle it with the office workloads.. concentrating only on domestic calls.. while having my own sweet time at home.. makan tidur.. makan tidur.. hahahahahaa..

Wake up!!! I am just like any other woman, wife, mother (sooo not yet), slave worker.. ooopss!! living the life with so many deadlines.. and I just hate to talk about my job.. though my job is not consider as one of the typical 9 to 5 career... but having to have the work to be done at home since the workplace has a very insufficient environment and lack of facilities really made my blood "go upstairs".. if the job is something that I like such as having doing my own online business or perhaps my own merepek thingy.. surfing, browsing.. shopping online(my new hobby/habit) basically things that I like.. things would be different..

Im back in Dungun.. had been offline for the whole week for a very raya sakan!!!.. raya sakan means visiting here and there.. meeting all relatives as many as possible.. literally I only have the opportunity to visit them once a year.. and of course.. the food feast.. mak aihhh.. penat jalan2 dan makan2.. not to mention the visitors of my parents.. seriously letih.. but what the fuss kan? sekali setahun.. :) anyway.. yours truly dont have much intention to write.. still so exhausted.. nak2 sampai aje rumah tadi terus buat house cleaning.. almaklum kena tinggal seminggu.. sawang habuk tebal 10 inci.. sooooo.. enjoy the piccas.. am uploading more in my facebook.. eccceehhh.. macam la ada ramai orang nak tengok.. whatever.. :)

unfortunately this year my other siblings beraya at their in laws... so the first raya we visited them instead of staying home.. including my inlaws since depa pun beraya kat KL jek... besttt.. sebab KL lengang ajek.. :)








the third raya we went back my mom's hometown in Tapah Road sebab ada first cousin's wedding reception.. on the way balik we took the Kuala Selangor route instead of the hiway sebab nak singgah Tanjung Karang visiting my other sister, Dila.. amik ko.. jam gila!!!

Its so hard to say goodbye..

Only a few more days.. Ramadhan is leaving us.. again.. I feel its hard though.. to say goodbye.. to this holy month.. personally.. I think time flies so fast.. pejam celik pejam celik.. Syawal is getting near.. have I done my best during this holy month? Have I fulfill the holy month with enough good deeds? I leave that to HIM to decide.. hmmm...

Anyway.. as Syawal is approaching.. I am doing the final check on my list...

tapi mahal gila.. tak padan dengan kampung la Dungun ni..
RM30 for a pair of baju kurung biasa and RM35 for kurung pesak..
baju melayu johor aka teluk belanga pulak RM80.. dearly expensive!!!
I miss my tailor back in Perak.. Kak Ida.. huhuhuhuuu..

this year not so much membeli kuih raya..
jauh sekali membuatnya sendiri.. hehheeee
just some shortbread cookies, kek lapis sarawak (thanx to Baiti)
and some gula2 agar.. balik Klang nanti nak cari kerepek,
rempeyek and kacang2 pulak..

Personally for me raya this year is a tad bit less meriah compare than last year's.. Last year raya I was more excited.. more focus on what to wear, picking the baju raya design, finding the matching jewelery.. I even ordered lots of kuih raya.. not so much this year.. ntah la kenapa.. but Ramadhan 2009 is one of the best because first time berpuasa and masak sepenuhnya for my dear husband (despite that this week banyak la jemputan iftar di luar).. I am so thankful and grateful for that.. hmmm.. its indeed so hard to say goodbye to Ramadhan 2009...

side note: Im going back to my hometown in Klang for this raya on this Thursday.. yes.. Its my turn this year( we take turns to celebrate raya)... semoga selamat pergi dan selamat pulang to all yang balik kampung.. including yours truly and En Amir.. by the way.. jemputlah datang ke rumah raya ni.. :)

I bukan orang kaya tiba2 ada duit sederap and boleh beli the designer handbags anytime I want to..

Panjang jugak kisahnya handbag ku ini.. some miscommunication between me and the SA in London had led the bag to be delivered to Perak.. which is my previous home before I moved here.. thank god I have a few friends yang sangat baik hati di sana... and help me to deliver the bag to me... thank you Linda...

The luxury of its very fine leather, soooo roomy (read:boleh sumbat segala jenis mak nenek) and the handle is totally stunningly elegant and chick I may say.. hmmm.. I am impressed!! the strong smell of the bag even made En Amir bertanya " bau apa ni?" owwwwhhh.. thanx to hubby.. sebab izinkan beli bag ni and.. sponsor separuh.. :) .. u are my favourite sugar daddy.. ooopss!!!

Shopaholic cum Imsoniac

Thats me tonite.. Entah apa ke halnya sampai ku "tertakboleh" tidur malam ni.. Imsoniac.. Its now 4.17 am already.. despite the fact I am actually so tired.. exhausted.. sebab siang tadi both hubby and I went to Kuantan for a few raya preparations.. a few? jap lagik ku cerita ehh.. ye.. penattttt.. tapi tak boleh tido.. the other half has long sailed in his sleep.. daku yang terkebil2.. menggelintar sesawang lah jawabnya..

Speaking about being a shopaholic.. yours truly turun ke Kuantan lah petang tadi.. more likely yesterday la kan.. we have yet done any shopping for raya this year.. except tempah baju2 and kuih2.. I pasang niat.. hanya harus berbelanja tidak lebih RM200 this year.. just nak cari En Amir's shirt that match my baju kurung pesak and some fake Levis jeans (read: look soooo ori I tell you ).. yup.. initially just nak shop for En Amir..

tup tup.. Sampai jek EC Mall... sale sesaja.. kedai emas jek tak sale.. yang lain semua on sale.. dengan bertopeng bagai (h1n1 alert la kunun) mak pun akhirnya hilang self control.. sudahnye dekat RM500 ada.. beli a pair of hush puppies and a new handbag for my mum.. Myself pun.. sangat la tak senonoh.. thank god I have no heart at all nak beli kasut baru or baju baru (malas nak gi fitting).. tapi aku ni tengah musim gila handbag.. ari tu ariani.. haihhh.. ni handbag la pulak..

I just could not resist myself from admiring this one bag.. neither refraining myself from buying it.. walhal my online bag which I purchased weeks ago is on its way here.. En Amir hanya mampu menggeleng kepala..

side note: we accidentally left one of our stuffs packaging that we bought from carrefour.. sakan benor shopping sampai lupa nak book table.. dek kelam kabut carik tempat berbuka... hence the packaging is now lost.. balik rumah baru perasan takde.. haihhhh..
