Yesterday.. my better half kepingin kambing golek... heheee... reti jugak husband kesayangan ku ini nak mengidam.. heeeeeee... tapi dia kata bukan dia ngidam sangat.. dia saja nak ajak iftar di luar sebab isteri bulat dia ni have been cooking quite persistently these few days... so.. kunun2 mau appreciate daku yang bertungkus lumus di dapur sorang2.. hehehehee.. walhal dia lupa.. ini cuti sekolah.. buleh la ku godam masak gitu gini.. heheee... tapi takpe.. orang nak belanja.. mana mungkin daku tolak... :)

First, he booked a table at Mayang Sari Resort.. sampai sana nak confirm booking, tup tup tup.. kambing golek tadokkkk.. just food biasa as such nasi kerabu bagai.. patah hati suami kesayangan ku itu.. hehehee..

My better half did not want to give up.. kita orang pun pergi la carik another iftar buffet.. paling dekat D'Rumbia.. tadokkk jugak.. hehehhehee... ada orang tu about to be so frust menonggeng.. daku mahu ajek ajak makan Burger King.. hehhee... still did not giving up, he drove us to Paka pulak... yessss.. dah dekat dengan BK nih.. Tengok2 dia melencong ke tepi pantai.. to Residence Resort/Hotel.. As he went inside to pursue his idaman kalbu yakni kambing goleknya.. aku dah standby nak mengayat dia to go to BK.. duk terbayang la triple stack beefacon burger itu.. sangat2 menggiurkan fikiran mak ok..

A few minutes later he came out and as I was about to talk to him bout BK.. he was "yesssss... ada !!!".. hmmm... takpelah.. takde rezeki mek nak makan beefacon... thus.. as for last nite we had our iftar at the Residence Hotel..

OK.. review time... hmmm... as for RM45 per pax.. I was a bit disappointed.. well.. lets see.. the main course was nasi bukhari... lauk pauk masakan Melayu.. sambal udang, kurma ayam, asam pedas, ulam2 semua ada... not bad.. ok... sup gebok pun sedap.. ABC though sangat manis juga sedap... En Amir juga sangat happy since the kambing golek pun ada.. and ayam golek pun ada.. sedap jugak...

Our rich spread... penuh meja.. huahuahuahaaaaa...

Amboi... sakan makan kan? macam tak ingat dunia.. dah tu.. why the disappointment? The dessert was so below my expectation ... all pudings.. kaler je tukar2... kek pun marble kek ajek.. ok.. guilty as charge.. aku memang hantu pastries, kek bagai.. huhuhuhuu.. nasib baik... before that singgah Mesra Mall to get this..

sangat sedap dimakan bersama hot coffee.. nak lagi sedap reheat dulu dalam oven kejap.. awwwww.... sangat sedapppp..

syukur.. semua pun rezeki dari tuhan..

Aduh!!! Sakit Kepala!!

Tak tau la kenapa.. sampai sakit kepala yang amat semalam.. sakitnya ya amat kepala ku.. nak describe macam mana eh... It was started in the morning even during sahur.. woke up like usual at 4.30.. memang sakit2 kepala dah.. thought it was just normal and thought that it would go as soon as bila dah mandi nanti.. tak hilang pun.. ok fine bleh tahan lagi sebab aku ada errands nak buat kat bandar Dungun.. nak hantar dobi, nak gi bank amik statement, nak carik lauk basah tuk nasi ayam.. mak gelek ajelah mak nya headache tuh.. punya semangat nak masak nasi ayam..

Balik from bandar.. tu dia.. makin menjadi2 pulak.. dah lah one side ajek.. sebelah kiri ajek.. sampai ke leher.. aku pun mandi lah lagi sekali lepas balik tuh.. and cuba lah taking a nap depan tv.. while waiting for zuhur.. laying over the couch.. and sempat pulak ber "video skype" dengan buah hati di teluk intan.. anak2 cikgu fazli.. wahhhh... baru sekolah tadika tapi dah pandai puasa.. pandai mama dengan ayah didik along & angah.. cehhh... headache ku seemed like fading away... rupanya it getting worse.. dah la sorang2 kat rumah.. kalau lah ada org boleh tolong picit2kan.. dekat setengah botol balm tu ku kerjakan.. haihhh..

It came to the extend that aku nak telan panadol.. punya la sakit kepala.. not just the headache.. tapi burping, nausea semua bagai... tadi half side jek.. la nih dah jadik satu kepala.. masya allah tak lau nak cakap.. I even thought.. kene h1n1 ke? hishhhh... nauzubillah.. tido.. laying down.. semua tak jadik.. last2 dengar azan asar.. so aku solat.. sampai aku pasang niat.. kalau muntah.. aku buka nak cari panadol... tak pernah aku kena gini.. eh pernah kot.. tapi tak puasa kan.. boleh makan ubat... the pain was so unbearable!! (side note: baru sakit kepala, sakit bersalin, sakit nak mati belum lagi.. haihhh)

At exactly 5pm.. aku ingat nak suruh my better half belik aje lauk buka ini hari.. aku masak nasik je la.. tapi ntah macam mana.. kuasa tuhan aku rasa.. aku masak from scratch dalam sakit2 kepala tu.. nasi ayam tau... tengah2 masak tu.. hilang pulak sakit kepala aku.. ada sikit2 tapi tak sakit sangat macam tadi... I was impress with my own self.. heheeee.. nasi ayam aku lengkap dengan salad semua..

Ni bukan lah nasi ayam yang aku masak.. lebih kurang ajek rupanya... aku tak larat nak amik gambar.. letih semacam.. tapi tu lah.. maybe sebab orang sakit yang masak.. puasa plak tu... termasin sikit nasi ayam aku ni.. so aku alter lah sup jadi less salty.. baru ok makan... tapi alhamdulillah.. habis licin 2 put nasi ayam aku my better half bedal.. heheheeee...

Anyway.. enoughla cerita pasal sakit kepala and nasi ayam masin ku itu... I have something to share.. sedikit petua how to prevent h1n1.. berkesan ke idak...wallahualam kan.. kita cuma berusaha ajek..

• rendam sebiji kurma (dalam 2 -3 jam jugak sebab nak bagi kurma jadi lembut) dalam segelas air kelapa dan minum setiap hari. Kurma mengandungi vitamin C dan semua pun maklum air kelapa memang banyak khasiat. Aku buat 3 biji kurma and sejag kecil air kelapa. Cukuplah untuk aku dan suami.
• amalkan setiap hari ayat 58 daripada surah yasin yang " salamun qaulam mirrabirrahim". Ulang sebanyak 28 kali. Mintak dijauhkan daripada penyakit berjangkit.

Dont forget.. kebersihan juga sangat penting.. once balik ajek dari outing ke mana2.. especially tempat yang ramai orang like PARAM.. silalah mandi dengan segera sebelum buat benda2 lain.. basuh tangan dengan sabun sekerap mungkin.. though kadang2 ignorance is bliss tapi tidak kali ini.. sama2lah kita saling mengingati.. sharing is caring, no? Oh ye.. kalau gi param tuh.. tolong lah pakai mask..

Hari ni aku nak cerita pasal food lagik.. hahahaaaaaa... ketawa dulu.. ye lah.. mana tak nye.. orang lain dah berzaman tahu masak benda alah ni.. aku baru aje acu try test untuk buka semalam... selama ni aku beli aje.. yelah sebab makan seorang.. kalau husband ku balik hujung minggu pun biasanya balik kampung.. aku tak pernah masak cenggini.. selalu nasik berlauk biasa2 ajek.. sempena bulan puasa ni.. demi suami tersayang.. aku cubalah varied the menu..

1 ramadhan - nasi goreng daging merah
2 ramadhan - nasi goreng ayam
3 ramadhan - kuey tiow goreng

Semalam.. Aku mati kutu juga nak masak apa.. nak masak lauk2 biasa ke.. macam boring ajek kan.. dengar pulak member2 masak nasi tomato.. thus aku yang jahil ini pun menggugel lah resepi nasi tomato.. laaaaaaaaa... betul apis cakap.. senang ajek.. campak2 ajek... hehehheee.. soooo... taraaaaa....

So last nite menu berbuka ialah nasi tomato.. of course dengan teh panas.. aku lalu minum teh o ajek.. tak tau la nape.. rasa lega semacam bila teh panas tuh mengalir kat tekak.. oohhhh heaven.. and.. Alhamdulillah... Tuhan permudahkan jalan.. my better half like the nasi so much.. dia kata boleh jual.. heheheeee... I shy shy cat pulak rasa.. heheheeee...

By the way.. kalau puasa ajek cerita pasal makanan.. takde ke yang bercerita hari ni dah ngaji sampai juzuk berapa.. terawih buat berapa rakaat.. buat sembahyang sunat ape... hmm... pikir2 balik.. takut riak la pulak ekk.. hmmm... renung2 kan lah.. jangan renung ajek..

Hari ni nak masak apa pulak.. malas masak boleh? akak mengidam lah.. benda ni akak tak pandai masak.. jap lagi nak kuar gi beli... sang suami pun macam teringin jugak.. hmmm.. yummy..

ok.. hari ini settle.. esok nak masak apa.. nasi lemak boleh?.. yeeee.. masakan saya semua menggemukkan.. hahahaaaa...

1 Ramadhan 1430

yipppiiiiiii!!!!!! seronok tak first day puasa?.. akak rasa seroooooooooonok sangat!!! As for me this year seems a bit better than last year.. why? sebab tahun ni dapat puasa penuh dengan my better half for the whole month (read: kot ku tak peot laaa) !! heheheheeee... excited kan? excited laaaa!!! You have no idea how I live my fasting month without him before... sahur pun quacker oat kadang2 kurma ajek.. buka pun.. kadang2 goreng nugget or mi meggi ajek.. or sometimes biskut kering cicah teh.. hehehe.. terawih jgn cakap la.. takde geng pun nak gi.. but this year.. I succesfully performed the first night of terawih at surau.. along side my better half.. first time my whole life tau.. rasa macam baru kawen ajek... ehehhehehe... alhamdulillah...

Best of all.. I got my cooking mojo back!!! As so you guys know.. I havent been cooking for the past 2 months.. muahahahahha!!! It all started with the rotten fridge which was shut down for a week when I was away a few months ago.. not the fridge but the stuffs inside went all rotten and smelly.. being a "penggeli" I am.. I did not use the fridge at all... So what I did was, bought almost of the food at my school canteen and reheated it... kesian Encik Amir.. hehehehee.. but now not anymore.. the fridge is now soooo ok after I put a bowl of charcoal which happens so usefull in absorbing the dampness and smell away... and before that I even washed the fridge in the bathroom (read: thanx to En. Amir who drag the fridge in and out) ... hehehhehee.. furthermore.. I have new cooking gadget.. gadget.. besar gabak bendanye.. hehehehe.. but the idea of the "first in first out" really made me so anxious to cook !!! heheeee.. ape tu.. ini dia..

Owwwhhh.. I put it on top of the fridge just to discipline myself from taking the rice directly from the top lid.. heheheee.. If it were taken from on top tak jadi la konsep first in first out tu kan.. dengan penggunaan dispenser ini, kuranglah masalah bubuk yg sering mak hadapi.. :) It is so delighting!!!!

Anyway.. berbuka lauk ape semalam? I made simple dish only.. enough for two of us... nasi goreng daging merah.. served with hot tea.. popia (read: abang beli kat param) as the appetizer and kurma of course...

reminiscing the legend

Sejak akhir2 ni beberapa orang ternama telah pergi meninggalkan kita. Among them Param.. Ustaz Asri.. Yasmin Ahmad..

I believe most people of my age remember the late Param so well.. I grew up by watching his drama and films during the 80's.. alongside Badul, Hamid Ghurka, arwah Yusni Jaafar.. Who would forget?

Ustaz Asri.. suara beliau.. suaranya yang unik.. who would forget his soothing manly voice when he sang those nasyids? I totally gonna miss him during pagi raya for the takbir..

Among those 3.. I definitely going to miss Yasmin Ahmad.. soooo much.. Im not related to her.. barely knew her.. somehow I felt the loss so much.. her pieces.. masterpieces I reckoned.. started with her beautiful and touching commercials.. later the films.. Rabun.. Sepet.. Mukhsin.. Gubra.. Talentime.. Though ramai yang tidak berapa bersetuju dengan beliau.. but for me.. personally.. her pieces touch my heart deeply.. biarlah banyak aksi tak senonoh pun... namun keasliannya.. the originality.. the pureness of her masterpieces.. terasa sangat ke lubuk hati.. her works is so distinguished that I always knew it was hers before knowing.. untill now I am still wondering.. how did she manage to capture people's heart through her work? Wasnt she a brilliant? She came up with all those simple things .. and I believe that neither of us could forget her simplicity.. sangat terkesan di hati.. and quoting a friend who said.. she could do it so well.. blending the multicolor races ads and films without being pretentious.. zero hypocrisy.. no one could do it without sincerity..

I just dont care if the arwah a she/he.. all I know is that she was a good person.. a very good person compare to many others.. Al fatihah.. semoga rohnya dirahmati..

crime scene investigation: my version

I was having a chat with one of my colleague when 3 of my pupils came by and told me there was an event of theft in the class... One of them was saying " dia curi @#$%!&*"... nooooo.. he was not being rude.. it just that.. I dont understand what the stolen thing is (read: I still have problem in catching up the local tune).. so I told them to act normal like nothing happen and teacher would came in rescue later..

Right after I finished giving lesson of the day I called upon Abu ( bukan nama sebenar) who was accused with the theft.. The interrogation started with me asking him if it was true in a very persuasive way.. I told him that I am not angry and that I just want to know while rubbing his back..

me : betul ke Abu ada ambil barang Ali?
Abu : ada..
me : Abu ambil ape?
Abu diam..
me : mana benda tu? teacher nak tengok..

Abu went and took it.. to my surprise.. it was not a biggie at all!!! it was just some small beads.. haaihhhh.. I expected more like money, books, cartoon sticker, an eraser or a pensil.. tak thrill langsung... haihhhh.. so I called upon Ali..

me : Ali.. takkan ni pun kamu nak report pada teacher.. kamu buat ape dengan benda ni?
Ali : Itu hiasan pada kerja seni saya minggu lepas..
me : teacher ingatkan pen ke, duit ke... ini aje?
Ali : dia orang suruh saya bagitau teacher.. saya tak nak bagitau..

Ali who is now afraid was trying to give excuses.. haihhhhh..

Me : Abu.. pulang balik benda ni pada Ali.. minta maaf.. kalau kamu nak apa2 minta izin.. jangan main ambil saja.. bla.. bla.. yada.. yada..

oowwwww yesss.. the teacher is now in unstoppable-nagging-mode once she started.. the locals call it "blebe"..

kids... kids... I wonder what their future like.. I wish all the best for them.. and I think I should control my nagging habit..

updates for this past few days..

1. pre UPSR trial, UPSR trial and monthly test no. 4
2. went for a courses in KT
3. moved in into my new home, the quarters
4. unpacking and reorganizing things in my new hibernation spot
5. analysis and reports for all the stated exams as above
6. going home to meru for a small aqiqah kenduri for my lil niece tomorrow

I am now living in a small town called Jerangau which is like 45km away from Dungun.. everything now is disconnected.. my astro, my internet, my telephone.. my life seems so dull and yet there are so much things to settle.. I am now busy unpacking all my stuffs.. busy setting traps for the roaches and ants aka semut firaun.. and rite now at 12.29am, I am surfing internet at my husband office while he is doing some discussion and reports with his colleagues.

Last week, meanwhile the school was busy with all the exams I was sent for a 3 days course in KT.. at a quite not so bad hotel.. where the food was exquisitely delicious compared to all other hotel that I have been to before here in Terengganu.. love the accommodation, love the food.. but.. one on the cps was suspected with H1N1 and was sent home earlier.. yuppp.. did made me freaked out a bit.. though I did not have any close encounter with her but being a paranoid.. I was quite freaking out.. anyway.. until now.. I am still as healthy as a horse with minor cold and cough.. no sore throat or fever.. but I am monitoring myself now.. once any sign of fever emerge I will definitely go see doctor..

Apart from all this duty things.. and the H1N1 alert.. last Thursday which was 31st of July marked my 4th anniversary.. but due to this hectic periods in my life and my other half too who is so busy with his report and office stuffs.. we just wish each other via sms.. since I was in KT.. and today.. we managed to watch our wedding vcd.... after quite so long.. and we are grateful for what we have been through and we can feel all the blessings.. keeping it short... it was not easy.. but it is worth trying..

Anyway.. I am going home to Klang tomorrow.. My family will be having a small aqiqah for Jannah.. I am supposedly having extra class this Friday and I did not decide to go home but I miss my family and my lil Jannah so much.. wonder how she looks now..
