PTA@PIBG at SKDD

some shots from my 24th PTA@PIBG meeting ...

We invited the local ADUN but didnt managed to be there. Apparently he was at Bukit Gantang (your guess was as good as mine ) so he has his rep instead. At the very last minute we managed to find our "perasmi " who was actually a rep from PPD. Anyway the rep for our ADUN was quite good at giving his speech. I guess all politicians are most likely the same.. they spoke very well.. by the way they generously donated RM1.5k for our PTA fund.. alhamdulillah.. and also the response from parents' attendance were quite impressive.. though none of them issued any suggestion or problem during the meeting.. seriously.. the "USUL" page was blank.. maybe the "awareness" among these parents who are mostly "orang kampung" are not yet that exposed..

i think among the reason for the quite impressive attendance was the other attraction that we have during the event. We have some stalls that were RM30 rental for each. So there were some foods, cloths, handbags, tudung, brooches and even a stall that were selling the "ubat minda".. some lucky draws during the meeting.. not only that the school also invited the firemen to do some demo... which was mostly like a bubble party to the kids..

We also have the KKM people that day. A basic health screening test was held. We got to check our BP and sugar level and also a free consulation. There were also a pap smear test held but i did not make it because i was called to attend the meeting. So i missed it..

I managed to get my BP and sugar level tested though. When the nurse tried to get the BP on me, the belt that wrapped around my arm was suddenly popping out. I was like "saya kena darah tinggi ke?".. i was panicked.. the nurse smile and said " tak.. mesin nih habis bateri"... malu seh... they were all launghing at me.. silly me.. so i had it manually then. Using the pumping one. Thank god my BP was 110/80 which is normal and my sugar level was 5.6 which is also perfectly normal. The only problem that i have is.. OBESITY.. hmmmm..
